Krout Tops in NCPGA Older Boys Division but Youth Movement Shines at Shade Mountain

Middleburg, Pa- Williamsport Country Club’s Andrew Krout posted a five over par 77 today at the Shade Mountain Golf Club to take top honors among the Boys 16 to 18 year old division in the second event on the NCPGA Summer Junior Tour. Krout’s closest pursuer in his division was White Deer’s Travis Kennedy, Three Pond’s Shane Yeager and Liberty Valley ’s Maxx Wrobel, all who shot 78.

 But the older kids need to be looking over their shoulder at the youth movement. It was White Deer’s Kyle Deisher who walked off with medalist honors for the day with a one over par 73. Deisher, playing in the boys 13-15 year old division, was only two shots ahead of Mill Race’s Daniel Lee who posted a 75.  

 

Devan Everett of Belles Springs carded an 88 to pace the 16-18 year old girls age division. She carded nines of 46-42.

 Liberty valley’s Andrew Renz fired a nine-hole score of 42 to take the top honors in the Boys 10-12 year-old age group. White Deer’s Christopher McGee cared a 46 to take second.

 Among the 5 to 9 year old division, it was Rutvik Mahta and Dhruvi Mehta of the Bucknell Golf Club who carded five- hole scores of 33 and 42 respectively.

 It was the second event on the NCPGA Junior Tour. The next tournament will be next Monday, June 30th at the Mill Race Golf Club in Benton .
